No? Then head over to Inasal & Co in Liroville Subd., Singcang, Bacolod City, Philippines. It is right across Aboy’s Restaurant.
For
less than Php100, this restaurant gives your typical chicken inasal a twist by
serving it on a sizzling plate smothered with gravy. It also comes with
crunchy garlicky vegetables on the side to satisfy your palate.
My comment, however, is that besides the gravy, it still the same old chicken recipe that we are familiar with. Yet, this is a must try if you want to experience a different variety of this chicken barbeque. Of course they also have the regular inasal that Bacoleños are fond of.
Other than the famous chicken recipe, they also offer Sizzling Cansi, which is beef shank softened to a melts-in-your-mouth goodness. One serving comes with vegetables and gravy. Overall, the serving size is very generous. I have nothing to complain and It is best with garlic rice.
They also serve Louisiana Style Barbeque Spare Ribs in three sizes. The smallest is “solo” and surprisingly, for the price of Php 165, it was a very generous serving. It tastes slightly different from the usual baby back ribs that we are familiar with. The price, of course, is higher for the bigger ones.
Overall, the dining experience was amazing. Inasal & Co is open to serve customers from Tuesday to Sunday, 6PM to 3AM. This restaurant is great for those who want to eat chicken inasal in the middle of the night—giving people, who are nearby and working on the night shift, more options for a good meal.
The open space of the restaurant is a mix of industrial and stylish and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. Moreover, the items on the menu are affordable. For less than Php 500, you get
value for your money because the serving portions are plentiful. A small note though,
their chicken inasal does not seem to have that strong inasal flavor that we
were looking for.
Nevertheless, there are also other dishes on the menu that
we have yet to try.
