Tasty Garlicky Fusilli with Bell Peppers
Ingredients:
- 250g Fusilli pasta, cooked per package instruction
- Garlic, 6 cloves
- Bell Peppers, diced.
- Olive oil, 1 TBSP
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- Worcestershire sauce, 1 TBSP or to taste
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
- Cook fusilli according to package instructions. I prefer my pasta to be al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Mince garlic but do not over do it.
- Dice, julienne or mince the bell peppers--it is up to you. To make your pasta look more colorful, you can combine, yellow, red and green bell peppers.
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add garlic and stir be careful not to burn the garlic. You might want to lower heat. Add chili flakes. Add a little more for extra heat.
- Add pasta and stir carefully. Add salt and Worcestershire sauce. Toss and turn off heat after 1 minute.
Let stand for another minute or two.
Here's a twist: After turning off the heat, you can add some sweet basil leaves and cover the pasta for a minute.
Serve with freshly ground black pepper.
