Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen, in the North Wing of  SM City Bacolod, gives its customers an unforgettable taste of authentic Japanese ramen. That is the reason why this new restaurant that is between Mesa and Bread Talk is my new go-to place for this hot Japanese dish.

You can hardly get enough of this amazing bowl of noodles that is bursting with a fusion of different flavors. What makes dining in this restaurant amazing is the personal touch that they add to your order. The lovely and handsome waiters will ask whether your would prefer your noodles to be hard, medium or soft before they disappear to fetch your hot bowl of real Japanese Ramen.

 

There is only one thing that makes me sad. The serving portion is too small thus for a bowl of ramen that costs from P290 to almost P400, depending on the type based on its soup base and the main ingredients, I have to say it is pretty pricey.  Ikkoryu compensates for the small serving size with great taste.

 

They also have other items on the menu. They have iced tea and soft drinks to compliment your meal. They also have gyoza among other side dishes expected from a Japanese restaurant.

As for the physical aspect of the restaurant itself, the place is not too big and neither to small.  At the moment, I can only assume that it is likely to get noisy if they are packed with customers during peak hours. It is a good thing, though, that there is adequate spacing between tables.

Despite the fact that their serving portion only fills half of the bowl, I will definitely go back to Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen because of the amazing taste of their ramen and their awesome customer service.
