It's been a very long while since I last wrote anything on this block, so here is another review for all beauty junkies out there. This post is about Cathy Doll's AA Cream, where the AA is believed to stand for "Automatic Aura."

This is how the sachet pack looks, this costs less than P100

  Aura is, correct me if I am wrong, informally a term used by pinoys to refer to one's appeal or state of being beautiful. So in my own understanding, this AA Cream from Cathy doll is a product that promises to give instant "ganda" or something that glams you up instantly.

Disclaimer: I am not a make up guru. I am just someone who likes to use make up every now and then.

Before I commit anymore mistakes let's get technical. This product is a facial cream that is suitable for any skin type. So for those with oily skin, this should be okay. Right! It is still up to the person to like this cream or no anyway.

Needless to say it's a cream meant to provide full coverage, with a light and not greasy feel while it promises to get rid of blemishes and scars or wrinkles with continued use. It provides a cooling sensation while giving the skin the moisture that it deserves.

To live up to the AA identity that it carries this cream promised to deliver these benefits: Automatic Aura, Anti Aging and Anti-Acne.



It's available in two shades: Light Beige and Natural Beige. Light beige shade works well for my skin tone. Yay!


Take note: Do not be misled into thinking that this is a Korean product because when you see Korean writings all over. Cathy Doll is a Korean Inspired brand from Thailand.

I know that there is a full-sized version (50ML) out there that sells for more or less P650 pesos, but that is hard to find here in Bacolod City. The one that Watsons sells is just the little pack that has a nozzle at the top side that you can open and close with a tiny screw cap. The sachet sells for, I forgot, around P50 pesos.


So what is to like about this AA Cream from Cathy Doll? I basic things that I like about this product are the following:

• It is CRUELTY FREE. 
• Since it is in sachet form, you can easily bring it anywhere.
• The sachet is affordable and can last up to a week or two, unless you apply a heavy amount of cream on your face each time.
• It's formula matches Asian skin.

Well, here I am again with another beauty soap review. This time this post is about SOAPLADA Fast Whitening soap bar. On the box, it says SOAPLADA Brilliant Bar.

What is so special about this soap that sells for Php 200 something. I can't exactly say how much because it depends on the dealer. I bought mine for PHP 270 from a friend who sells it via Instagram. You will find the link at the bottom of the post.


I am sure you can save money buying in bulk but i would not want to do that granting that it's pretty expensive.

This SOAPLADA Fast Whitening soap bar is a product made in the Philippines. Everyone knows that skin whitening is a big thing here. I am not super obsessed to be as white as Snow White but I am one of those who prefer to have fairer and lighter skin, though I respect those who prefer being morena.



Anyway, so this bar promises fast skin whitening and it claims that you can see results in 2-3 days. It also has SPF 20 to help protect your skin from darkening so easily.

It claims to have all natural ingredients along with L-glutathione, Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, plant extracts and rosehip oil. It also says that it does not have harmful ingredients or parabens. Check out the picture below and take a good look at the other ingredients.

To make the long story short, all these claims sound promising. So let us jump right into the things I like about it (pros) and those I don't like about it (cons).

Pros:
1. Super effective-my skin was noticeably lighter after 3 days.
2. Smells good and the smell is quite long lasting
3. It makes my skin feel super soft and smooth after every wash.
4. This beauty bar lasts for a month.

Cons:
1. You can't buy it in groceries or department stores. You need to find a dealer that you can trust.
2. You need to devote time while in the shower to see results. Imagine, you need to leave it on for---two minutes for your face and ten minutes for your body before rinsing.
3.  You will sometimes see micro peeling- I am not a fan of peeling or even micropeeling. Even if it is an indicator that your skin is the process of renewing itself to reveal a fairer tone, it makes your skin look dry and scaly.
3. A bit pricey.

Final thoughts...well, granting that it is effective, I would probably buy this SOAPLADA Fast Whitening soap bar again in the future. I must also say this one important thing---when it comes to skin whitening you need to manage your expectations. While it is true that you are likely to see dramatic results in 2-3 days of using it, you should not expect to be more than 5 shades lighter than the skin tone that you have. Skin whitening depends on other factors like your lifestyle, how often and how long you get exposed to the sun among other things. Needless to say, it is worth the try.

Ibalik mo na besh ang dating alindog ng iyong kutis.. pwede sa kahit kanino besh safe na safe po itey... Kaya kung gusto mo talaga ng makinis.. Maputi at pinong balat si soaplada lang ang makaka gawa nyan besh.. subok na subok na at madami na ang nagpatunay isinugal ang kanilang puri sa pag bubukaka 😂😂😂

Back to this GT Bleaching Soap:

What are the pros of using this GT Bleaching Soap:

1. It does not melt easily for as long as you put is on a soap dish that drains water well. This soap can last more than a month.
2. It has a mild fragrance
3. Pretty affordable - P88 pesos everyone!
4. Coconut oil-based--which moisturizes the skin and leaves it feeling smooth. It is none drying
5. It did not give me skin allergies or irritation
6. IT IS EFFECTIVE.

I have recently added POND’S FLAWLESS RADIANCE DERMA + BB+ CREAM SPF 30 PA++ to my beauty regimen and like many other products that I use--or have used, there are a couple of point I love and don't love about this BB cream.

Let me start off by saying it's a beauty product from Pond's that is loaded with +'s--seriously and literally. It's an all in one cream that promises to hide spots and blemishes and even out skin tone while providing protection from the sun through SPF 30++

It is tagged as All-in-One because, in addition, to those properties above it is said to be a make-up and skincare, as well. What attracted me to this product is the promise of perfecting the skin from within through it's DermPerfect Complex Technology.


Personally, i use this cream alone because it gives my face a fresh and matte finish that is long-lasting.

Like most products, POND’S FLAWLESS RADIANCE DERMA + BB+ CREAM SPF 30 PA++ should be kept away from heat and direct sunlight. Use of the product should be discontinued in case of irritation. It is not meant to be used on damaged skin and avoid contact with eyes.

So is Vice Phenomenal Liquid Matte lipstick a YAY or NAY?

Moment of truth...

After trying Vice Phenomenal Liquid Matte lipstick in Hanash, I am now convinced that I should buy the three other shades that I also like. This product is super worth the money and the hype. I like how rich the color is on my lips. True to its claim, it is transfer proof, so I can give my kids and husband a smack on their cheeks without leaving a mark. I can also drink my coffee without leaving a kiss mark on the cup.

I am not sure if being dry on the lips is such a bad thing, I have tried other liquid matte lipstick and it seems it seems kind of normal. Be sure to gently scrub your lips before putting this lipstick--or any brand--as lipsticks on dry chapped lips look yucky.
