Review: Relumins Advance Vitamin C Max Skin Whitening Complex with Rose Hips and Bioflavonoids

Here is another product from Relumins, the makers of the famous glutathione supplements. So, this time, this entry is about Relumins Advance Vitamin C – Max Skin Whitening Complex with Rose Hips and Bioflavonoids.

This kind of Vitamin C supplement is said to contain a unique blend of Unique Blend of Quercetin, Hesperidin with Highly Bio-available Vitamin C. With the said ingredients, it promises maximum skin whitening.

To be honest, I would not have tried this product if it was not sold as a promo bundle with ReluminsAdvance Nutrition Gluta 1000, which is my favourite brand for reduced glutathione supplement. The bundle sells for P1,350 and it was a pretty good deal. If you buy the Relumins Vitamin C alone you will be spending P795. So by purchasing it together with the Gluta 1000 (P990), you will be saving P435—not to mention that it is free shipping when the order is above P1000 with flawlessbeautyandskinph.com.

So what is this Relumins Advance Vitamin C - Max Skin Whitening Complex With Rose Hips & Bioflavinoids?

Besides the promise of enhanced skin whitening effects through its unique blend of rosehips, bioflavonoids and others, it promises enhanced nutritional support to the body because of its highly bio-available Vitamin C.

Other ingredients that make this supplement different and promising…

- Calcium which is known to help the body produce and store collagen, which is a substance in the skin that keeps it looking young and firm.

- Quercetin which is a bioflavonoid naturally found in red wine, onions, tea, tomatoes, and certain berries, fruits and vegetables. Quercetin is an antioxidant that is said to have skin-healing properties and helps fight inflammation.

- Hesperedin a substance that can improve blood circulation. In effect, it helps to improve dark undereye circles, dull complexion and dry skin.

- Citrus Bioflavonoids that are known to be powerful antioxidants believed to reverse damage in cells, resulting in a more vibrant skin. This anti oxidant also helps the body fight stress and strengthens the immune system.

Before this product I was only consuming generic Vitamin C tablets that cost P2/tablet. I take two tablets for every 1 capsule of glutathione. This Relumins Vitamin C is about P13.25/capsule if bought alone, P6/capsule if purchased as a bundle.

What I like about this product...

-As a vitamin C supplement, it is effective
-does not cause upset stomach or acidic reaction, unlike other Vitamin C brands
-No odor, no taste, easy to swallow

What I do not like about this product...
-It is pricey
-I did not see any enhanced, or maximum skin whitening effects while taking it along with Gluta 1000

Final say..

Based on my personal experience, I did not see anything extra special with this vitamin C supplement. I have used Gluta 1000 from relumins before together with ordinary less expensive Vitamin C brands and there is absolutely no difference. Relumins Advance Vitamin C - Max Skin Whitening Complex With Rose Hips & Bioflavinoids may be effect but considering that it felt like taking regular vitamin c supplements, it is kind of pricey. I do not see myself buying it in the near future. I would rather go to the nearest drug store and pick up the cheaper vitamin C that I have always trusted.

Glutaredox Review: The Best Alternative to Glutathione Injection?

Here I am again with another glutathione product. This time, it is about Glutaredox, a glutathione supplement that is taken sublingually. I just finished a box and did I see results? Read on to find out.

First and foremost, I am very thankful that Oxina Nutricosmetics and Skitty.com.ph sent me 2 boxes of Glutaredox. But even if I got to try Glutaredox sublingual glutathione for free, my dear readers, rest assured that this review was written with full honesty. (Drama music, please.)

What is Glutaredox?

Glutaredox is a glutathione supplement in the form of sublingual tablets. It promises 100 percent absorption as each tablet is used by placing it under the tongue and held there until completely dissolved. Absorption is through the mucosal tissue found inside the mouth, thus barriers to glutathione absorption, as in the case of tablets and capsules, are decreased if not eliminated.

As stated on their website:

"Glutaredox Oro-FS-Release ensures maximum bioavailability of reduced glutathione in all areas. Scientific studies give evidence of the high bioavailability and effectiveness."

This sublingual glutathione supplement promises the following benefits:

Improved bodily functions
Improved immune system
Anti-oxidant and anti-aging
Healthier skin and hair
and a lot more

Glutaredox comes in a box of 30 individually sealed tablets. Unlike capsules and tablets that are being swallowed, this one does not have that "rotten egg" or sulfur-like smell. The tablets are also very flavorful, I find it hard to resist chewing them because they feel like candy. But then again, sublingual tablets are supposed to be placed under the tongue and you wait until it's dissolved. Do not swallow because you will be defeating the purpose.

Each tablet contains:

-Reduced Glutathione 250mg

-L-Cysteine 50mg

-Vitamin C 40mg

-Selenium 55mcg

My Expectations

And this is the part where I must admit, that the benefit I am honestly rooting for is skin whitening. Having whiter and clearer skin is the main reason I got hooked into using glutathione.

I have read a number of write ups about this product and what is interesting is that it claims to have effects similar to glutathione injection. I have had glutathione drip treatments and I found them to be very powerful and fast-acting but the dreadful thing about those treatments are the needles.

So when I started using Glutaredox sublingual glutathione tablets, I told myself if this indeed works like glutathione injection, then it is a gift from heaven.

On the other hand, I was skeptic because each tablet only contains 250mg of reduced glutathione whereas capsules usually have 500mg or even higher. Then again, I realized you usually have to take capsules twice per day and that is maybe because the absorption rate for capsules is not 100%.

Furthermore, it's Facebook page says that with this product, you will be whiter in seven days. I was totally intrigued. How could one 250mg glutathione tablet do that? There was only one way to find out.

So, I told myself --okay--I will take ONLY one GLUTAREDOX tablet per day as it promises full absorption since it does not have to go through your entire digestive system before circulating the rest of your body. You get what I mean.

30 Days Later...

In a nutshell, I can say that it is EFFECTIVE. It does work like glutathione injection but I think it can only be comparable to getting weekly shots of 600mg TAD or TATIONIL. I cannot compare it to getting gluta drip sessions that use megadoses of glutathione and other things. One should note, though, that getting higher doses of glutathione comes with higher risks. Therefore, if you are leaning towards the safer side, a low dose of glutathione that can be fully absorbed by the body is better in the long run. For that, Glutaredox deserves all the praises.

In terms of whitening, I did not see that in seven days. That is probably because I was receiving 5000 mg of glutathione weekly through drip sessions, with my last a week prior, before I started my first box of Glutaredox. I am positive that if I had not received IV glutathione prior to taking the sublingual tablets, my expectation would not have been so high. The good news, however, is that seven days after I started taking Glutaredox I noticed that my skin appeared healthy and glowing, the pores and fine lines on my face are less noticeable and my face was less oily.

I must also say, I expected to become at least another shade whiter with the use of this product, however I got a little disappointed, the whitening was very minimal. Glutaredox does however help maintain the shade that my skin is currently in (after months of taking other gluta products).

But that is not all...I noticed many other benefits after 30 days. Here are the pros of using this product:

My scalp was healthier and I now have ZERO dandruff
And, healthy scalp equals healthy -hair, right?
My nails do not easily break
My skin feels more youthful and glowing
My face look refreshed
I did not experience weight gain
No allergies and upset stomach, heartburns or headaches
I totally forgot I used to have arthritis
More regular bowel movements
I feel more energetic
I can concentrate better
Convenient to use
No need to take separate vitamin C
FDA APPROVED

With this I can say that the skin and health benefits can make me shout "Hallelujah!" But I just wish it made me a lot whiter, but that is just me.

On the other hand, this will not be a complete review if I do not come clean with the cons (at least those that I experienced)

It's whitening effects are subtle and minimal
Sometimes I feel a slight sting under my tongue
And it is a bit pricey. One box sells for P2,380
Occasional breakouts

FINAL VERDICT

For those who are happy with the anti-aging and the health benefits, then this is a good investment. P2,380 is reasonably lower compared to getting 600mg glutathione injections.

However if you dream of becoming as white as Snow White, then you will likely need more than 3 boxes and lots of patience in addition to having a strict skin care regimen. Or, find another brand of glutathione if you want to see greater and faster results.

I am going to end this post by saying that given the fact that it is indeed effective, I would purchase it again. I am already on my second box and I am planning to finish up to three boxes. After all, morenas need to take glutathione for at least 2-3 months to see dramatic whitening results.

Product Review: Ishigaki Amino Classic White

Here I am again with a review of another brand of Glutathione supplement. This time it is Ishigaki Amino Classic White. Is it effective? Read on to find out.

My review is based on my personal opinion and personal experience with this product.

Most of us know that Glutathione is an antioxidant formed in the liver. It brings the body many health benefits and as a bonus. Unfortunately, due to factors like improper diet, stress and other things, not all people have enough glutathione in the body. Because of that, glutathione supplements in the form of capsules have become popular.

Aside from being an antioxidant, glutathione pills have another interesting side effect. High amounts of glutathione in the body can lead to fairer and whiter skin. That is the reason why I started taking glutathione supplements 3 months ago.

As you can see in this blog, I have already tried two brands and was able to achieve considerable results. The only problem with those other brands was availability and because of that, I ended up buying Ishigaki Amino Classic White from a legit online store.

I will now go over the basic things you need to know about these pills.

First of all, it is effective and inexpensive. When I bought my first bottle of Ishigaki from a certain online store, it cost me PHP 1,200 (inclusive of shipping costs). If you want to get a much better deal, go to this LINK instead. Boy! I wish I had found out sooner.

Anyway, the recommended dose is one to two capsules per day so one bottle is pretty much good for one month as in my case. I took 2 capsules per day because I wanted to get the skin whitening benefits in the shortest time possible.

Each pill is very white in color and has that distinctive “rotten egg” smell. Don’t worry, it is not that bad and it is absolutely tolerable if you are not OA (overacting).

The formulation of each capsule is:

L-Glutamic Acid 200m

Glycine 200mg

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine 200mg

L-Cysteine 50mg

L-Methionine 50mg

Citric Acid 50mg

This goes to show that unlike other brands, Ishigaki provides the breakdown of the glutathione blend that is contained in every capsule.

Other ingredients: Gelatin, titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate.

As to its authenticity, I believe it is authentic because I used one pill to perform the Betadine test and it passed so far. But take note that the Betadine test does not measure how effective it is, it only helps to tell you that the pills are not fake. Take note, as well, that there are fake Ishigaki capsules out there so be mindful of where you buy it from.

I have not come across a fake Ishigaki glutathione supplement but, those who have encountered fake ones say that the prints on the bottle will tell you if it is indeed FAKE. I am one hundred and one percent sure that the one I bought is authentic so check out the pictures below.

So the bottom line…

What I like about it, is that:

It is very effective! I saw glowing and super soft skin as early as one week.\
It has whitening effect. I noticed that I was a shade lighter after one bottle. But take note that I have been taking glutathione supplements for many weeks before taking Ishigaki.
My face is less oily but not dry.
It is not difficult to swallow.
I did not get any upset stomach, no food cravings
It has no effect on your mood.
I have better sleep.
Best of all, it is affordable.

What I don’t like about it, is that:

It gave me pimples. It is not that bad but one or two would show up every once in a while. When one pimple goes away, another shows up. You know…
I do not like the yellowish glow it gives you. Some like it, but with the other brands the glow was kind of rosy.
The supplier run out of stock so it will take a week before I can continue with a second bottle.

Side notes:

I still have freckles and I do not believe that glutathione can erase that.
I have large pores, although they appear less prominent, I don’t expect glutathione to erase them too.
I have arthritis in my wrists and joints in the hands and I haven’t suffered from it since I started taking glutathione pills.

Also, take note that skin whitening is only a side effect of taking glutathione pills. As an antioxidant it will first do its magic inside your body. Only when your body inside has had its fill of this antioxidant will you then start to see the skin whitening benefits. This is to say that the effect of glutathione still varies from one person to the other so I am speaking from my personal experience.

So the final verdict is…

Ishigaki Amino Classic White is affordable and effective, so I will definitely purchase again. You too can achieve the same benefits, so go get your Ishigaki supply from this LEGIT Ishigaki Glutathione Seller

However, if you want a rosy white glow, you would be better off with a different brand of glutathione capsules.

Glutathione Pills: Will It Work For Me?

I can't believe it. I am hopping on this skin whitening bandwagon. Anyhow, this is my first time to take glutathione food supplements and I will be documenting my progess--if there is any--week after week.

Okay! So I am giving you guys a break from all the hair bleaching, hair coloring stuff that I always talk about. And now here I am...I am taking glutathione capsules.

It never really occurred to me that I would one day be bothered by my brown skin. Why do I want to have fairer skin? Honestly, I do not want to be as white as a celebrity. I just want to have a fairer skin for the following reasons:

I want to look younger because I am already thirty somthing--duh!
I want to look less tired--yeah 10 years of not getting enough sleep will take its toll on you
I want to look and feel better

Basically, I am doing this because I want to and I want to see if it works. I think this experience is worth sharing because I want to be as real and truthful as I can be for the benefit of those who share the same sentiment.

Before I continue...This is not a paid post. The I am not reviewing the brand of the glutathione supplement that is featured in this post. I just want to see if glutathione pills will have any effect on my brown (morena) skin. Yes! For 30+ years I am morena...I was born morena. And the more I spend time in the sun the darker I get and a whole lot more.

Other than that, I have freckles, I have fine lines...I have uneven skin tone and the list is long. In short I do not have a fair skin. *sigh* One of the contributing factors is my lifestyle. I do not get enough sleep because I have to juggle being a mom of 3 kids, being a wife and working from home. I must also mention that I very seldom drink but I used to be a smoker.

To make the long story short, I have not been taking care of my skin for the last decade and to be honest the thing that is going in my mind right now is that: Can Glutathione Pills reverse ten-years worth of sun damage?

I feel optimistic, to tell you the truth. This master antioxidant sounds very promising based on the countless YouTube video and blogs that I have watched or read. But will glutathione work on me? I have yet to find out.

So I did my research. There are so many brands, all with the same promise: Detox, healthier body, better skin, whiter skin and stronger immune system...the list is long.

1 Capsule contains:

L-Glutathione (reduced) 500mg

Vitamin C 100mg

Because this is not a review of this particular brand I am not going to discuss anything particular about it. I probably will write a review about this product after 1 month.

How to Take:

For detox--you need to take only 1 capsule per day

For skin whitening--you need to take two capsules per day

I have decided to take only one capsule per day. I am currently taking it with two tablets of vitamin C every morning because to make Gluta pills effective you need to take vitamin C that is 2x the amount of glutathione. At night, I take 1 gel capsule of Vitamin E because according to experienced glutathione users, vit E recycles glutathione not to mention that it is good for the skin.
