Oh, dear! This post is long overdue. This is my review of another glutathione brand. This post is about the all new and reformulated NuWhite.
I have not tried the old NuWhite (light pink) one. Before anything else, I would like to thank Oxina Nutricosmetics for giving me a sample of this all new and reformulated NuWhite. Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. The product was given to me for review and here is my honest review.
What is NuWhite?
The new and improved NuWhite uses S-ACETYL GLUTATHIONE which is bioavailable form of glutathione. Though, it is taken orally, it promises better absorption therefore users can expect it to be more effective than competitive brands. With its new formula, it is odorless and tasteless. It's FDA-approved, patent-pending Italian SAG formula, EMOTHION, is combined with Collagen, Vitamin E, and Sodium Ascorbate.
When the product was launched earlier this year, they #NuChallenge that promises users to see real results in 28 days or less thus the #LessThan28Days.
For more of those techie info, head over to their website.
As per their instructions, you only need to take one capsule daily and you can expect to get the following results with continued use:
- Whitening
- Anti-aging action
- Liver protection and detoxification
- Skin nurishing
- Healthy immune system
- Smoothens wrinkles
- Reduces fine lines
- Firms and lifts sagging skin
- Radiance and Skin Health
- Metabolic and cell-cycle related functions
With the price of P1,880 per bottle that contains 30 capsules (good for one month), is it worth it?
I know glutathione is a master anti-oxidant with lots of benefits to the body inside and out. But since most of us, Filipinas, use glutathione with the hopes of achieving a lighter skin tone, here is my two cents--two centavos in our currency, whatever, you get it. 😊
It is a bit pricey from my own point of view, but based on my own experience it does give visible results in one month.
Furthermore, based on my experience, one month of using NuWhite results in:
- lighter skin-tone (about a shade lighter at least)
- skin that looks more refreshed, less dry, radiant, tighter looking pores
- you look less haggard
- you feel more energetic
- you feel younger
- you feel less stressed
- you have better mood
And for those who want to see proof of the skin lightening effect...tada!
But like I always tell people, just because you are using "gluta" to whiten your skin, do not think that you are less prone to skin darkening or that the lighter skin tone that you have achieved is permanent. You have to follow a certain skin care regimen like wearing sunblock, avoiding too much and unnecessary sun exposure, follow a healthy lifestyle. Of course, if you go to the beach and bask in the sun for hours, you will still tan, maybe slower because glutathione inhibits melanin production...but still you will tan after a while in the sun.
Is NuWhite Effective? Is It Worth the Money? My Final Say
I have to admit, it kind of hurts my pocket but if you are to spend more or less P2,000 pesos of a whitening supplement, then you will not regret buying NuWhite. Just make sure you are buying the legit one.
To buy your supply, you can but it from here. If you are lucky it may be on sale you can get it at P1399 less or more depending on the promo.
